ππΏ Movie in the Garden πΏπ
Join us for a movie night in the garden to watch the PBS Nature film, My Garden of a Thousand Bees, and experience bees like you never have before! This film follows acclaimed wildlife filmmaker Martin Dohrn, who, locked down by coronavirus, turns his lenses on the surprising and spectacular bees living in his own urban garden in Bristol, England. Watch the trailer at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y0ji0FIBa0.
This event will take place after our Wednesday, May 1st worknight in the garden. Feel free to come and spend some time in the garden first or just come for the movie. We will put out food and have some social time starting around 7:00 pm, and the movie will begin at dusk, which should be a few minutes before 8:00 pm. The run time of the movie is slightly less than an hour.
We will provide dinner for everyone attending. If you would like to bring a vegetarian dish or snack to share, that would be great, but it is not required. Please be aware that the location of this event is a vegetarian/intoxicant-free campus. Seating is limited, so you may want to bring your own folding chairs as well.
In case of rain, we will reschedule our event to Wednesday, May 8th at the same time. Please email Wendy at wendyv@sustaindupage.com if you have any questions.
