Dear Big Heart Ranch Community,
As we reflect upon another month of love and compassion at Big Heart Ranch, we're reminded of our sanctuary's profound impact on human and animal lives. Our commitment to awakening, rescue, and rehabilitation is a testament to the support of our Conscious Community, comprised of over 60 youth, school-based programs, corporate partners, community organizations and YOU!
With your support, Big Heart Ranch has facilitated experiential and learning programs for thousands of individuals and families within its Conscious Community including: Autism Speaks, NAMI, Harmony House, United Children's Fund, Miriam's House and Teen Cancer America to name just a few.
Together, we're creating a world where every being is treated with kindness and respect.
The Rescue, Renew, Reconnect Initiative: Infrastructure Improvements Amidst the Storms
Thank you to all of those who reached out with concern during the recent storms, mudslides and the earthquake in Malibu! We know that Mother Nature expresses herself however she wants - and our incredible team took care of our rescue herd to weather the storms.
We are now in the process of additional infrastructure improvements for all these beautiful animals. This includes major upgrades to animal facilities, a barn, sustainability plans, and learning program spaces. Your support ensures a sustainable sanctuary for all.
The BHR "Rescue, Renew, Reconnect Initiative" is a multi-year fundraising campaign to expand our reach and enhance our programs. Leadership donors play a crucial role in this endeavor, helping us to offer sponsored youth days and support for animal care, community workshops & events, and our general fund. Your contributions also facilitate crucial organizational and facility infrastructure improvements and enable us to fulfill our mission.
Our BIG Hearted Hat fundraiser has helped our elder rescued bunnies receive the vet care they needed, and provide neutering to our male bunnies by All Animals Veterinary Hospital. It also provided much needed medicine for our elder horses and pigs! We thank NENN Equine for their love and care.
We're still going strong with the BIG Hearted Hat drive! This upcoming month's drive will benefit our rescued pigs' feet and teeth care. Get your BIG Heart Hat here!

Community Workshop Re-Cap
On February 11, over 30 Big Hearts gathered for an incredible workshop: A Bliss Filled Breathwork and Animal Connection GALentine's session with Blair Cobb and the BHR Rescue Herd! Proceeds benefited our 65 rescue animals' care, food, and rehabilitation.

Spring Equinox: Breathwork for Renewal March 23, 2024 with Blair
Join us to celebrate the Spring Equinox with a Blair Cobb Breathwork experience designed to spark personal growth, healing & emotional release. This Breathwork event will be enhanced with the cosmic sounds and healing vibrations of sound healer, Tesha Edwards, to allow participants to go even deeper within. After practice, participants will have the opportunity to continue grounding their energy by spending time with Big Heart Ranch's rescue farm animals.
Celebrate Earth Day with us through engaging activities that honor our planet and its inhabitants. This event is a beautiful opportunity to learn more about sustainability and how we can all contribute to a healthier Earth. Connect with our rescue heard, experience nature, and mark your calendars!
