Volunteers Needed!
Our Luminaria Walk and Star part is coming up on December 21, 6-9 pm. Help will be needed at the hot chocolate table with set-up, serving and clean-up.
Nature TotsChildren ages 3-6 and an adult are invited to explore nature with a Refuge Ranger.
Mural Loop Guided Walk Join Ranger Dakota for an easy 1 mile walk along our mural loop trail to learn how they represent our goals for ecological restoration at Valle de Oro.
BARK RangersBring your furry friends to learn about our pet policies on the refuge and take the pledge to be a part of our BARK Ranger program. All dogs are required to be on leash and non-reactive around others.
Beer Fundraiser Live Music and Raffle Listen to the Silver Sky Blues Band. Enjoy a beer with friends and take home a commemorative pint glass. A portion of sales benefits the Friends of Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge
Saturday at the Refuge Join us for a ranger-led activity, arts and crafts, and fun for the whole family! Free food will be provided by the Friends of Valle de Oro.

Deadline to Enter 2024 Photo Contest Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge invites photographers of all ages and skill levels to enter the 2024 contest by submitting images that highlight the beauty of the refuge's wildlife, landscapes, and visitors. Winners will have their .. displayed in the visitor center. Email submissions to valledeoro@fws.gov.
