The Offering Pleasing to Me

Look at My Jesus

CORPUS%20CHRISTI(1).jpg

An excerpt from the Message of April 1, 2025
THE OFFERING PLEASING TO ME

God the Father speaks:

The ESSENCE of the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Altar, of the Holy Mass, is what my Jesus did and said.

His Words and Actions in that HOUR.

Do you understand?

Beyond the gestures and rites and practices.

This is the essence. The JEWEL.

                                                  ----

...What do I require from each of you?  How do I desire that you offer Me the Holy Mass?

Looking at My Jesus.  Loving Him and imitating Him, together with Mary Most Holy.  Uniting your heart to Theirs.  Offering yourselves to My Love.  Offering to Me your sorrows and pain and that of your brothers.  Offering yourselves with My Jesus as an offering of Love, Obedience and Reparation.

This is the Offering that pleases Me, children.

SCAPULAR INVESTITURE

Update on the Padre Pio Workshop

IMG_9556.jpeg

It has been a while since we brought you news on our new maintenance building. The new Padre Pio Workshop is largely complete but the monumental process of moving and arranging all the equipment, tools and parts is still taking place--all the while keeping up with the daily maintenance and random emergencies of the Mission.

Our Team: Steve Magdich - Raul Landa - Dave Sommers -
and Dee Dog

The interior is subdivided into separate areas of major activity: groundskeeping, woodworking, plumbing & electrical, welding, small engine repair and large equipment repair.  There are also specific areas for open storage and climate controlled storage.

Dave Sommers says it best. "The Mission requires all the upkeep of a small city. We have to maintain and repair roads, multiple water systems, an electric grid,   sewage systems, various buildings and a fleet of vehicles. It is never ending."

The woodworking area pictured above is largely Steve's domain. Steve has been in charge of spearheading the new maintenance building project from beginning to end.  Thank you, Steve. Great job!

It takes A LOT of equipment to keep the Mission grounds looking so good. But apparently it only takes one person of boundless strength, energy and commitment to its upkeep.  The reality is that the equipment always wears out before Raul does.

Dave Sommers, our Sergeant Major, does the small engine repair.  If you check the photos lining his walls you may recognize some pretty famous faces, but the first in importance is Padre Pio.

The new building includes an air conditioned office/lunchroom where the men can take a well-deserved break. But the real luxury is that the new building also has an onsite bathroom and running water---a maintenance first!

When all is completed, Father will bless the building, and we hope to have an open-house for our friends to thank you for your support.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a comment or testimony. We ask that prayer intentions be placed at Prayer Request on our website.

May God pour his graces on all sinners for their true conversion and salvation. Praying for evil to be exposed & expelled from within the Church and all areas of society. Praying for our country and all Nations - may they accept and recognize Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Praying for holy Priests, Religious, and People of Consecrated Lives. Praying to be as holy as our Lord has desired my family, my neighbors, and myself to be. God bless Mission of Divine Mercy for communicating these important messages and bringing us the Gospel. Thank you! ~Marcia

Thank you, all of you at Mission Of Divine Mercy. The messages and Father John Mary Foster's Homilies in the regular emails are so very important to me in these confusing times inside and outside Holy Mother Church. I am currently reading a book highly recommended to me by someone very much involved with the Mission. I just finished reading the first chapter of the book "I Am Sending You Prophets (The Role Of Apparitions In The History Of The Church) by Edward D. O' Connor, C.S.C. I am so happy to have this, I believe important book. This, to me is essential in helping discern all this information overload (internet, cell phones, TV, etc.) With the recent explosion of AI now hitting all forms of communication, it's almost impossible to truly hear God's voice. In the Reconquest messages, God The Father urges us to listen only to His Voice. How can we really do this with oh so many distractions for our attention and intellect? This book is helping me to do just that, to sort through all the "noise" we are constantly bombarded with and discern what is it that God is saying to mankind. Thank You ~Leedell

Thanks to God and the Blessed Virgin Mary for The Mission of Divine Mercy, I ask that the true church triumph, for the conversion of the most inveterate sinners, for the healing and conversion of my son, the health of my daughter, for my little granddaughter who is one month old, so that God our Lord continues to bless his family and they grow in holiness. By the grace of compulsion for my husband. For the holiness of the cardinals, bishops, priests, those who have betrayed God may they return to him.~ Anonymous

Thank you for considering making a donation in support of  MDM. Your donations go directly to the Mission of Divine Mercy Inc. which as of March 2024, is considered "not an approved Catholic apostolate of the Archdiocese of San Antonio."
