Together we make students shine β¨
Last week we were visited by Isabella, teenage entrepreneur and the Founder of En Pointe Bels - an organization that collects and redistributes new and gently used dance costumes, shoes, and more.
When Isabella coordinated her third visit with us, we connected with our educator network to learn what was needed for upcoming performances. She tailored the item collection to their requests. Stunning costumes fluffed with tulle and sparkling sequins were sorted and packed to be delivered to DC public school educators. You can watch a video about her first visit with DC Collaborative, here.
We are so thankful for Isabella and her family for partnering with the Collaborative to make dance more accessible. Community efforts like these are what makes our work so unique. As a conduit, we respond directly to the needs of our community. When you support our work, you support the teachers, partners, and students who contribute to vibrant and enjoyable school environments.
Attention DC Collaborative Members: Join us on November 19th at 4 PM to reconnect, share resources, and enjoy the fall foliage. We are excited to have a guest speaker from DC Action! The meeting will be followed by a guided stroll through the Autumn terrain at the historic Congressional Cemetery.
Get ready to submit your program to be considered for our Education Programs Catalogue.
