AMSPDC Advocacy Webinar: How to be a Stronger Child Advocate - A New Research-Based Frame for Talking About What Kids and Families Need to Thrive
One of the great paradoxes of America is that while we each individually do everything we can to benefit the children in our own lives, we have not been able to make child health and wellbeing a collective policy priority. In 2020, Leading for Kids along with the Frameworks Institute began a multi-year project funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to understand the deep cultural mindsets that shape the way Americans think about children and their wellbeing. With an understanding of these mindsets, the project identified new ways for advocates to frame children’s issues that are more likely to engender public support for policies that benefit children and families. This webinar will present these research findings. |
