Junior Leadership and the LEAD Institute had fantastic opening retreats over  the past few weeks. The Signature opening retreat is happening this week. Look for a special announcement with class lists for the 20th Junior Leadership class, 3rd LEAD Institute class, and the 32nd Signature class later this week. 13 Leaders Receive Tuition Assistance

If you've experienced Leadership Medina County, you know how awesome it is. This year we have 5 junior leaders and 8 adult leaders who requested tuition assistance. That's a total of 13 leaders who are committed to serve Medina County. Share your love of leadership by donating to Tuition Assistance. You can designate your donation by selecting a purpose. Community Spotlight of the Month

Five members of the Leadership Medina County's Signature Class of
2019 took a "class photo" at a fundraiser August 27 at Buffalo Creek Retreat for the Free Clinic of Medina County. The theme of the event was French Picnic.

Please join us on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. for an evening at the Recovery Center of Medina County (RCMC) and Sérénité Restaurant. Our agenda will include students in the culinary program and participants in the Recovery Center, who will tell their heartwarming story and how this organization has helped them. There will be speakers from all three program areas, The Recovery Center, restaurant and kitchen. Lindsey Conrad ’22, Regional Manager at Rapid Mortgage and RCMC board member, is sponsoring a special hors d’oeuvres menu prepared by Chef Todd and one drink per attendee. Make it an evening and stay for dinner with other alumni. Make your dinner reservation by calling (330) 952-2611. We hope to see you there!

October 6, 2022, Noon – 1PM on Zoom

Community Education is almost ready to launch a free series on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion featuring Kevin Clayton from the Cleveland CAVS, Dr. Ellen Burts Cooper, and the Ruffin Family. We also have speakers from Westfield Insurance, Out Support, Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Medina Hospital, Baldwin Wallace, and John Carroll University. The series begins on October 6 with offerings monthly through May 2023 thanks to support from the Medina County Community Fund, Medina Hospital, and Westfield Insurance.
