Dear Science Olympiad Community:
It's that time of year when Science Olympiad teams start to flex! Check out this list of Invitational Tournaments, many hosted by our Science Olympiad College Alumni chapters - it's a great way to narrow your list of college options while getting great practice for 2025 qualifiers. We truly appreciate the hard work everyone is putting in! 🙌
Giving Tuesday is one of the biggest events on any nonprofit calendar and it's coming up December 3rd! At Science Olympiad, we give back year-round and we'd love you to join us in funding programs like our Teachers Initiative, which encourages STEM majors to become science teachers in high-need communities. Your support could help students like Morgan Peoples, who is studying to be a high school science teacher at the University of Central Oklahoma and won a $5,000 grant from the Science Olympiad USA Foundation!
Our 30-year partners at Corteva Agriscience invited Science Olympiad students from Peru High School to host a booth at this year’s FFA conference in Indianapolis last month. The students highlighted how STEM programs like Science Olympiad align with CTE programs like FFA and how students can double their opportunity by participating in both activities!
