TPP Program Updates:

January 31 @ 830 am - Presenting SOMD 2030, a workforce development initiative.  Learn about paid internships for Summer 2023, the growing Tech Jobs Rule (TJR) Apprentice program, and other ways to get engaged as we increase our STEM pipeline.  This workforce development initiative has been a priority for the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance (SMNA).  Through the efforts of the SMNA, NAWCAD is able to fund this program. STEM-ING inspiring the next generation, wants your ideas for workshop topics and activities! On behalf of STEM-ING, TPP is soliciting STEM workshop ideas to support this great event. Workshops, 50 minutes in length, should be fun, interactive, and educational. We are especially looking for workshops focused on the topic areas of: engineering, chemistry, robotics, veterinary sciences, and plant sciences to get them interested in STEM. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society which works for a cure through research advocacy, financial support is seeking sponsorships – High School students in St Mary’s County are fundraising for this important cause. A number of students have family members or friends diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma. This is an opportunity to support a local cause and support these students in their fundraising.
