New Year, Same Mission

As we move into the new year, we recommit ourselves to our mission and the impact it creates, one life and one connection at a time. Every act of mentorship, generosity, and support creates a ripple effect that reaches far beyond what we can see, strengthening individuals, families, and our community. Together, we look forward to continuing this meaningful work and creating waves of hope and lasting change in the year ahead.

We asked our mentors what they feel is the most rewarding aspect of mentoring. . .

"Getting to see my Mentee grow!"

"Celebrating wins with my Mentee."

"Watching lives change for the better"

"Seeing a human being get the live they were created for."

We are incredibly thankful for the lasting ripple effect created by the service of two outstanding board members who have helped guide Welcome to a New Life.

Jim Woodward, a Charter Board Member and Hancock County Jail Chaplain, served faithfully from November 2018 through December 2025. His compassion, leadership, and heart for those we serve created ripples of hope that will continue to impact lives throughout our community.

Precia Stuby, a Charter Board Member who served from July 2019 through December 2025 as our Board Treasurer, brought wisdom, dedication, and strong stewardship to WNL. Her commitment has created a ripple effect of stability and growth that will support our mission for years to come.

Thank you, Jim and Precia! Your leadership and service have left a legacy that will continue to move our mission forward. 💚

With special guest speaker Tony Hoffman.

Tony's story is one of the most remarkable comebacks in sports and recovery.
After paroling prison in 2008, he dedicated his life to transformation and service, turning his struggles with addiction into a platform of hope.

Recently we hosted Millstream Career Center staff so they could learn about our mentorship program. Thanks for spending time with us!

Do you want your team to come learn more about WNL and our mission? Reach out! We would love to host you!
