[This is an excerpt from one of the earliest Messages. It was dictated in Spanish; this is the translation. "Abba" is the name used by God the Father when He speaks.]

"Let Me act in you, My little children. Your Abba only wants your good, and in these Times only needs from you your absolute Faith, your childlike trust, your gaze placed on Me. I will do the rest. These times are different and require new means, new tactics. It is not you who invent these things, but it is I, your Father and Lord Who arranges these new means and reveals to you how simple it is to be Mine, My children.
Each time has its way and its need; this is the time of the children who abandon themselves completely and in everything to the care of their Father, with the full certainty that He takes care of them.
My little ones, follow the example of My Jesus, Who made Himself so little and dependent.
The more childlike you become, the more I will be able to do for you, and the more useful you will be for My Great Work of Mercy – you will be like an open door through which My Mercy and Power can enter and shine in the dense darkness that envelops the whole world and my children.
In the spiritual childhood, in the offering of the pain that rends – so to speak – your soul and leaves you completely vulnerable to Me, is the great secret of these times.
Faith, abandonment in pain, the full hope in My Love.
I form each of you in these attitudes that I need from you. And in the measure in which you correspond and cooperate with Me, I can do My Marvels.
…May the Blood shed by My Jesus—shed in total obedience to My designs—teach you this absolute trust and obedience. May it envelop you in Its protection and strengthen you to fulfill the mission that I have entrusted to you..."
