You may remember how your life used to be before your injuries, but you have to move on and appreciate your life today. You can look back with fond memories, but you can also build new ones that do not require you to overdo during the holidays. Here are 13 tips to help navigate this busy season. They are detailed in the article mentioned above:

1. Pace yourself

3. Get organized in advance
4. Prioritize
5. Ask for Help
6. Keep things simple
7. Eat properly and drink water
8. Determine how to get where you have to go before you leave
9. Determine how much time you need to get there

Did you have a TBI more than a year ago? Are you still experiencing problems? We invite you to take part in a study (The HOME Program for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury and Family Members). This is conducted by Villanova University's M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing and funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The study occurs in your home. The study's aim is to help persons with TBI manage their symptoms and limitations and to support their family members.

We are seeking participants in Philadelphia, the surrounding counties, and southern NJ. Download our flyer for more information. Please call Jan Dinnella at 610-519-4504 to talk about the study.
