Pediatric Sessions!
Join us for a series of pediatric-focused sessions at the conference on Tuesday, July 1, designed for both professionals and caregivers.
Topics will include the impact of brain injury on siblings, strategies for returning to post-secondary learning and work after brain injury, caregiver experiences, empowering parents of children and adolescents with brain injury, and the latest updates in pediatric and adolescent concussion evaluation. Additionally, a caregiver support group will be available, offering a space for connection and shared experiences. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, share, and support one another!

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the impact of brain injuries and promote prevention and recovery resources. Stay tuned to our Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts for ways to get involved, as well as helpful information and resources throughout the month.
This year, a record 410 people are registered to attend the National Brain Injury Conference & Awareness Day, we are proud to be bringing 45 representatives from Pennsylvania!

Everyone affected by brain injury has a story to tell, and no matter where you are on your brain injury journey, your story deserves to be told. The Brain Injury Association of America is highlighting stories about the unique journeys of the brain injury community at biausa.org/MyBrainInjuryJourney.

BIAPA will host a Brain Safety Fair at Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg, PA, Saturday, March 22 from 11 to 2. Presented in recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month, the Fair is a family-friendly event that includes interactive activities that show how the brain works and ways to prevent brain injuries. It also includes the fitting and distribution of free bicycle helmets (while supplies last). Sponsor and exhibitor opportunities are still available. CLICK HERE for details and updates.

The BIAPA statewide virtual support group will meet Thursday, March 20 at 5 PM. This tight-knit community consists of survivors, caregivers, family and professionals from across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania! Please use thisZoom Link to access the meeting.
BIAPA's next Caregiver Support Group will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 6 PM. This monthly, virtual meeting is open to all caregivers. The meetings are an excellent opportunity for caregivers to meet one another, share experiences and discuss topics of unique relevance to their roles. No pre-registration is required!
