It's FALL Y'all! Hope that you are enjoying the break in the heat. Looks like the folks that escaped for the summer are heading home. The golfers, court sports players, walkers and runners, are coming outside in droves. The Community is getting back into full swing with events, and many other happenings. Stay tuned and keep an eye out for everything your community has to offer and join in!
The Landlovers Opening Reception on Sep 15. was a HUGE success! Not only was attendance up, but we also had 47 Community non-profits, Landlovers Sponsors, and Landlovers committees set up information sharing tables. It truly was a wonderful event, and enjoyed by all that attended. A very special thank you to Barb Clark and Linda Alper for helping to organize it.

On Thursday, Oct. 9 Rambles invites you to climb aboard the UGA Aquarium’s research vessel, the R/V Dawg, for a trawl in Wassaw Sound.
Participants will actively contribute to marine sampling efforts by working alongside marine educators to collect, sort, and identify a variety of marine organisms collected as part of the trawl.
Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and water.

Supporting Community, Scholarships, and Local Non-Profits
Are you moving, planning an estate sale, have physical limitations, or will be away during the regular intake dates in March 2026? Landlovers invites you to participate in our early donation pick-up program for the much-anticipated Landlovers Flea Market and Auctionmania events!
Beginning Tuesday, October 7, and continuing on the first Tuesday of every month, our Flea Market and Auctionmania brigade will collect donations ahead of the big events: the Flea Market on March 14, 2026, and Auctionmania on March 19, 2026. This special early pick-up service is designed for island residents facing unique challenges—whether you’re moving, planning an estate sale, have physical limitations, or expect to be out of town during our regular intake days, March 12 & 13, 2026.
Simply email fleamarketdonations@gmail.com to schedule your pick-up, and please reach out at least two weeks in advance so our team can best serve you!
All collected treasures will be reserved for the March 2026 Landlovers Flea Market and Auctionmania, with proceeds supporting The Landlovers Foundation. Your donations help fund scholarships, merit awards, and grants to local students and non-profit organizations, strengthening the fabric of our island community.
