It's harvest season! Harvest season is a time for the agriculture community to celebrate the fruits of our toil and look ahead to what’s next. In this month’s edition of Corduroy Connection, we celebrate our students who will be competing at the National FFA Convention and introduce new opportunities for giving back and getting involved in the Wisconsin FFA Foundation.

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation is excited to announce our new sustainable giving program, Rooted In Giving Circle!

The Rooted in Giving Circle Membership Program builds a community of dedicated supporters who are united in advancing Wisconsin FFA through consistent annual or monthly giving.

Contributions to the Rooted In Giving Circle are allocated to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation's Annual Fund and helps the Foundation offer leadership and career development events, awards, grants, and many other opportunities to Wisconsin FFA's 27,000 members.

Gifts can begin at just $5 per month, making it easy for anyone to make a lasting impact. All members enjoy exclusive benefits, including special event invitations, e-blasts, and more with additional perks available at higher giving levels.

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity! Amid the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, Giving Tuesday serves as a reminder to pause, and "live to serve" in your community through donations, volunteering, and random acts of kindness!

This year, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation has set a goal to raise over $5,000 to support the 27,000 Wisconsin FFA members across the state. Thanks to the generosity of Compeer Financial, we're already halfway there with a $2,500 matching pledge - but we need your help to reach our goal!

More details to come on how you can get involved, but start spreading the word today!
