TPP – TECH BRIDGE – NAWCAD - NAVAIR
The FAA has requested support from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to investigate the feasibility and expected performance of applying anti-jam (AJ)/anti-spoofing (AS) GPS/GNSS technology for use in civilian aircraft applications with an initial focus on Transport and Business Jet aircraft. NAWCAD is releasing this RFI on AJ/AS GPS/GNSS technologies for eventual use in civilian aircraft applications. This RFI is a study identifying and discussing the characteristics and performance of the vendors’ AJ and AS antenna technologies that are currently available or being developed. The information learned from this RFI may be used to identify potential systems for evaluation testing at NAWCAD. Results from the RFI data and future evaluation testing will be used to develop updated GPS/GNSS AJ/AS antenna Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) and cockpit displays/annunciation MOPS for the FAA.
NAWCAD is performing the study, hosting the industry day(s), and establishing Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) or technology agreements for test hardware, lab tests, chamber tests, and future flight tests for the FAA.
The following dates apply to the Request for Information (RFI)
• 60 calendar days after the RFI release: RFI Q&A closes to new questions (due 4/20/2025)
• 90 calendar days after the RFI release: Final responses due (5/20/2025)
NAVAIR Public Release 2025-0037. Distribution Statement A – “Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited.”

Historic St. Mary’s City Announces the Official Opening of the reconstructed Brick Chapel Interior
April 12, 2025, | 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This marks the culmination of decades of archaeological research, historical study, and preservation efforts dedicated to one of Maryland’s most significant sites of religious freedom.
A Legacy of Faith and Freedom
Originally constructed in 1667, the reconstructed Brick Chapel at St. Mary’s City stands as a powerful reminder of faith, perseverance, and early American values. The chapel was forcibly closed in 1704 by order of the royal governor, and its bricks were repurposed for other structures.
The day’s events will begin with a ceremonial unlocking of the chapel’s doors by St. Mary’s County Sheriff Steve Hall, symbolizing the reversal of the act carried out in 1704 when Sheriff John Coode locked the chapel under royal orders.
Afternoon Lecture Series (1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Will feature presentations from leading historians, archaeologists, and preservationists, providing in-depth insight into the chapel’s history, construction, and discoveries. This free event is open to all.
For more information, please visit www.HSMCdigsHistory.org or contact hsmcc.info@maryland.gov.
