Humanist Canada President Attended Humanists International 2025 Conference

Martin Frith, President of Humanist Canada, attended Humanists International’s 2025 General Assembly and International Humanist Conference, which is hosted by AHA Luxembourg

This major event brought together humanist leaders and advocates from around the globe to exchange ideas and advance the movement’s shared values.

The conference’s theme, “From Awareness to Action: Strengthening Open Societies through Scientific Literacy”, emphasized the crucial role of critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making in shaping open and resilient societies.

Looking ahead, the next World Humanist Congress will take place in Ottawa in 2026—a significant opportunity for Canada to host the global humanist community and further strengthen international collaboration.

Introducing the New Humanist Canada Legacy Giving Program

We’re excited to launch a new way to make a lasting difference through our Legacy Giving Program. By including Humanist Canada in your Will, you help ensure that secular education, critical thinking, and compassionate values continue to thrive for generations to come.

We’ve negotiated an exclusive 20% discount for Humanist Canada members, and volunteers are eligible for an additional discount.

You’re not required to include Humanist Canada in your Will, but if you choose to, your legacy will help shape a more rational, empathetic future.

💬 Legacy giving isn’t about the amount—it’s about passing on your values.

We also invite you to join our new Humanist Legacy Society—a community of supporters who’ve committed to this meaningful form of giving.
