Dear LAJF,

We just wrapped the first CRS and TELE sessions of the summer! A big congratulations and welcome to the newest members of our global community! Head over to our blog to check out photos from both the in-person and virtual sessions. Our Summer Staff team is invigorated and looking forward to the start of the Boys/Non-Binary session next week.

"My experience at CRS has been eye-opening and incredible! I feel like a new person—a better version of myself." - Citlali, CRS '24, Oakland, CA

There are some exciting things on the horizon, and we invite all CRS alumni to participate. We are currently working on this year's issue of our alumni magazine, The Sundial, and your input is needed! Please submit your Beings & Doings in the online Alumni Directory by August 31 to be included. While you're there, take a couple of minutes to update your contact information.

As we head towards the monumental 95th Anniversary of the founding of Camp Rising Sun, we hope to keep getting better with age. Your feedback is much appreciated—please complete this survey to share your feedback to help us plan for the year ahead.

Finally, if you haven't already, please RSVP for the global reunion in Poland from September 6-8. The registration deadline is quickly approaching! We look forward to seeing you there.

Wishing you a great rest of your summer!

With gratitude,

Helene Mattera

LAJF Executive Director

VIRTUAL CONNECTION IN TELE SESSION I

TELE%20GROUP%20SESSION%20I-1.png
Each year, we are pleased to see how our virtual program, The Ethical Leadership Experience (TELE), continues to evolve! Campers experience much of the same program as our in-person camp, but in a completely online environment. They truly forge connections across borders, as they are logging in each day from cities all around the world. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for a full recap of our TELE sessions. Check out photos on our blog!
