Mental Health Grant Deadline Extended

Focus%20on%20Mental%20Health.png

Metro's Grants team has decided to extend the deadline by a few days. If you missed Sunday's deadline but still have a project in mind for Metro's Focus on Mental Health grant opportunity, you can still apply, through Monday, August 22nd.

This invitation is open to all United Methodist churches in the Central District to consider how grant funding can help your church take action toward mental health issues, such as suicide awareness, grief, trauma and recovery. Funds for this grant can be used for mental health training for church leaders, to bring mental health professionals to your church for awareness building, to launch a support group, for books or videos around grief, suicide or other mental health topics, and for other ideas you might have.

We invite you to check out our website for full details on this grant cycle, thoroughly read the Request for Proposal, review the timeline and consider the possibilities at your church. Then, we invite you to Apply by the August 22, 2022 deadline. Be sure to download and save the application before completing.
