California MD, Location: TBD – Kurt Hartsough was the Navy’s SME on surface ship equipment shock qualification for 25 years. 901E&T, is located in Lusby MD. He provides training and consulting for Navy programs requiring equipment shock qualification. The class is broken into multiple levels to assist program managers in understanding the Navy’s OPNAVINST 9072.2B acquisition requirements, test engineers to understand the complexities and inconsistencies in MIL-DTL-901E and design engineers to further understand the requirements for component testing, isolator design and design guidelines.
