A Powerful Voice for Progressive Values in Israel:
In Conversation with MK Rabbi Gilad Kariv
Sunday November 14 - 10 am PT/1 pm ET
The new "change" coalition is moving quickly to make improvements for all of the country's residents.
The previous coalition of Bibi Netanyahu's Likud party with the far right and Ultra-Orthodox ran Israel for 20 years. These parties have moved kicking and screaming to the opposition.
The new Israeli government is working to control Covid to allow the opening of businesses and schools, reduce the ability of Haredim to control the lives of the large majority of Israelis who aren't Haredi and, most importantly, are likely to pass the first budget in three years.
As Chair of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, MK Rabbi Gilad Kariv is at the heart of the debate on Israel's most important legislation.
On November 14 - the deadline to pass the budget! - Rabbi Kariv will talk to us about how the new government is turning the tide in Israeli society, for the better.
