"What Mother Doesn't Warn Her Children?"

OLG%20closeup.jpg

To Our Friends and Readers-- In his latest letter "A Church Without Its Mother," ( see below) which speaks about alarming  matters in the Church, Bishop Strickland says:

"We are living in a moment when the Blessed Virgin Mary is not openly denied – but quietly reduced.

...Mary may console. She may encourage. She may inspire. BUT SHE MAY  NOT WARN THE CHURCH. SHE MAY NOT CORRECT SHEPHERDS. SHE MAY NOT CALL THE FAITHFUL TO REPENTANCE WITH URGENCY. "

Reading these words Mother Magdalene said, "What mother doesn't warn and correct her children?"  And we couldn't help but think of all the times the Blessed Mother has spoken to us in the public Messages to do just that: to warn, to correct, and to call us to repentance, because we are Her children.

Here is just a little sample.

February 8, 2024. A Call to All the Children of God

Children, the battle looms and you are asleep.  I come to awaken you; as a good Mother who, being vigilant and keeping watch over Her children, and seeing the increasing danger, shakes her children so that they may not perish without fighting.

...I have come to you, children, time and time again, year after year, to warn you, to call you to the battle, to give you weapons with which to fight and defeat Satan’s works.

May 13, 2024 - My Children, Silence Before God

My beloved children,
All of you, who were entrusted to My Motherly care by My Jesus as He was dying on the Cross. Since that Hour I have carried each of you – across all time – in My Heart. Since that Hour I have loved you as My children. All of you. Each of you.

...Children, do not set My Words aside – not these nor any of the Words I have spoken to you throughout the centuries – Words that have come forth from My Immaculate Heart – from the Heart of your Mother – to help you, to guide you, to correct you, to warn you.

If I speak, I do not do so of My own accord – I speak the Father’s Will for you. I speak My Son’s Love for you. I speak the Divine Light shed upon you by the Most Holy Spirit of God.

...My beloved children, consider all the times that I have been sent to you to warn you and to bring you the Light of God to see the reality surrounding you as God sees it. HOW MANY TIMES, CHILDREN.

...And do you begin to understand too then, what the greatest obstacle is to Our Plan?

The horrendous LACK OF FAITH that produces contempt for Our Things, Our Words, Our Actions, and that is born out of the seed of pride planted by the enemy and fed by arrogance and fear.

And how this seed of pride [has] fallen into so many of the souls of My Priests and Consecrated children...

May 21, 2024 - Strength from a New Pentecost

My beloved little children,

I speak to you from My new Tepeyac, where I will gather all the Words that I have spoken to you throughout the centuries; where I will renew all the various Graces that your Heavenly Father has granted in My holy places as a seal of His Love and Blessing, and as an answer to the prayer of My Motherly Heart for all My children.

...To tell you that in order to form My Army a very hard formation is necessary...

Children, your Mother knows what you will be facing and prepares you.

Aug 15, 2024 - The Citadel of My Heart

The Church is under siege, sons.

Surrounded by the forces of Satan, and as a city whose walls have been torn down, there is no safe refuge except in the Citadel.

My Heart is the Citadel, the Tower, the Bastion, where there is safe refuge, peace, Light, consolation; where the Truth shines without any diminishment, where the soldiers of My Son are formed and strengthened, ready to go out and fight when the Hour arrives, when the Trumpet sounds.

Enter and bring with you, in your hearts, all of My children.

Come, sons, enter into the Refuge prepared for you.

... in this tremendous Hour I gather My children and My Priest-sons in My Heart, around Me, and I give you Light, hope, and the certainty of the coming of My Jesus and of His Victory – the direct intervention of the Father to renew and reconquer His Creation.

July 24, 2025 "Give Me This Month of August"

I bring you words of Light and Hope and Truth to sustain you and guide you through this night.

On guard.

I see, My children, what you are facing and will soon face.  And I come to form you, to warn you, and to take you by the hand, that you may not lose your way in the night and in the storm that is being unleashed upon you.

I see your love, your efforts, your sacrifices, prayers and acts of trust.  I take them all to the Throne of the Father, that He may have Mercy.  This is why I ask that you give Me everything, My little ones, everything.

A Church Without Its Mother

TWL(1).jpg

There is something profoundly wrong when a Church grows uneasy speaking about her own Mother.

...We are living in a moment when the Blessed Virgin Mary is not openly denied – but quietly reduced. Not rejected – but managed. Not attacked head-on – but contained, regulated, and rendered harmless.

And this should alarm every Catholic who understands how the Church has survived every storm in her history. Because the Church has only ever survived when she was anchored – firmly, publicly, unapologetically – to two pillars.

As St. John Bosco saw in his great prophetic dream, the Barque of Peter does not endure by clever navigation or pastoral creativity. She survives only when she is bound between the Most Holy Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Two pillars. Not one. And when one pillar is weakened, the entire ship is exposed.

What we are witnessing now is not confusion. It is not accident. It is not poor catechesis. It is a deliberate narrowing of Marian instinct – training Catholics, slowly and carefully, to think about Mary the way Protestants do.

A  Ten-Year Anniversary
Devotion To Jesus and to the Mission

IMG_9089.jpeg

Father presents Raul Landa with a blessed chain and Crucifix on the occasion of his tenth anniversary of working at the Mission. Raul is in charge of the grounds at the Mission and is responsible for the park-like appearance on which so many people compliment us.

IMG_9096.jpeg

Raul has received offers for better paying positions, but fortunately for us has turned them down out of devotion to serving Jesus, the Blessed Mother and the Mission. For this we are very grateful.

Jesus, he trusts in You.

We hope you will join us!

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a comment or testimony. We ask that prayer intentions be placed at Prayer Request on our website.

We must have Faith in the Holy Trinity One God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and in The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother Of God, Our Mother, no matter what happens to us or to the World around us.~Jose

Please pray that my surgery goes well. I am in need of prayers, to be strong and not fearful, and to do God's will. May our Lady cover us with her mantle, and protect us. Thank you ~Miriam

I am almost 69 years old and I have lived a life of suffering, which I unite with the LORD and offer for the souls and for the pain of those in need. I don't know if I have the right to ask for relief for my own suffering, because a meningioma and a broken spine sometimes make my days quite difficult. If you think I should ask for help, I leave it to your discretion, because I think that if the LORD sent this to me, it's not right to ask to alleviate the pain. I humbly embrace MARY MOST HOLY and the CROSS of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
PEACE AND GOODNESS. ~Nancy

Thank you for reminding us in these moments of uncertain turbulence that the only real and important thing is «abandon ourselves and our loved ones, and entrust ourselves to our Lord, with that little prayer: Jesus, in You we trust. Amen». [Homily, 2025-12-28].~ Pilar

Thank you, dear Father Juan María, for each of your homilies, as simple as they are profound that fall on the soul like drops of refreshing dew. Especially thank you for making us feel part of the community regardless of time and space through your words: «The people who have gathered now in this chapel and other people who are further away, but who are attentive» [2026-01- 04]. Also thanks to each member of the MDM for interweaving time, work and dedication so that we can access the messages and homilies. Thank you for being privileged instruments of the Good God. ~Pilar

This last Epiphany, I was commenting with a friend that our last name is Rey, (my hubby's) and my last name Baltazar like one of the kings. So he asked: What did you receive? And I said a great favor or gift that hasn’t happened yet! So the next day, I received the amazing gift of the possibility of having the surgery my heart desperately needs, (I have no insurance and no money for it) so, I am getting everything I need to be operated!!! Please pray for me and my daughter and granddaughter, so it can be a success!! Ave María!!! Jesu ufam tobie~ Miriam
