At HBL, we rely on gifts from individuals like you to sustain us in our mission. New this year, updates to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA 2017) provide changes that could be relevant for your own year-end giving plans. Beginning in the 2026 tax year, a reinstated deduction allows non-itemizers to deduct cash donations to certain charities—up to $1,000 for single filers or $2,000 for married couples filing jointly.
