Welcome to a New Life in the Community

As the summer comes to an end, we are excited to share some of the incredible ways our organization has been active in the community recently. Thanks to the unwavering support from our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we’ve been able to share the mission of WNL and provide incredible opportunities for our  mentees!

We recently attended the Annual MPC Nonprofit Fair! Thanks to Marathon Petroleum Corporation for encouraging your employees to engage with our local nonprofit community 💚

Earlier this month, Executive Director Carla got to join 100.5 WKXA for Arlington Community Day! We're so grateful for the opportunity to share what we do with the Hancock County community on the radio!

We had a great morning celebrating Recovery and being a part of Recovery Palooza hosted by FOCUS!

We were glad to be a part of the recent resource fair at The Family Center - It's always so great to share the mission of WNL, as well as see all of the amazing resources available to community members.

WNL was able to collaborate with FOCUS and the Hancock County Justice Center to host a resource fair for incarcerated individuals. This was an amazing opportunity to share the resources available to these individuals upon their release.

To wrap up Recovery Month, we're hosting a CHOPIN Hall Mobile Food Distribution with Findlay Digital Academy!

Thanks to Laurie Poland, Findlay Hope House Development Director for playing the Game of Life at a recent mentor/board meeting! WNL was given real life scenarios that clients have faced to help us have a better understanding of homelessness.
