1st QUARTER 2025

Racing Toward the Goal!

With donations still coming in, Race to Nowhere has raised over $70,000 for MS Achievement Center! Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success:

  • 175 participants riding stationary bikes for 30 minutes…
  • 50 fundraisers reaching out to family and friends to support MSAC…
  • 300+ donors giving to a place so important to people you care about...
  • 31 volunteers setting up and pumping up the atmosphere…

But this was about more than pedaling a bike, sending emails, writing a check or blowing up balloons.

This was about COMMUNITY! A community that gives so much!

THANK YOU for being part of our MSAC Community! We couldn't do what we do without you.

MSAC Awarded Grant for Music Therapy

MS Achievement Center has been named a beneficiary of a 2025 ACM Lifting Lives grant. As the philanthropic partner of the Academy of Country Music, ACM Lifting Lives is committed to improving lives through the transformative power of music.

With the generous support of this grant, we are engaging the services of a music therapist for 12 weeks this year. She leads our members in a range of activities aimed at improving cognition, increasing dexterity and enhancing mood and quality of life.

As you can see in these photos, the program is indeed "lifting lives through the power of music!"

Because of your support, MSAC empowers people with progressed MS to thrive beyond their diagnosis.

Your generosity allows us to offer activities — like music therapy — that enhance both physical and mental well-being.

And that is...

MUSIC TO OUR EARS!

Program Impact: Physical Therapy

Nicole Lowe joined our MSAC team last fall as a physical therapy assistant, taking on the vital role of working one-to-one with our members to support their physical wellness.

Beyond assisting members in building strength and improving physical abilities during program days, Nicole also works closely with them to create personalized home exercise routines.

Nicole truly is making an impact at MSAC. Erin, one of our Monday members, has noticed her balance, gait and energy all have improved as a result of her home exercises and one-to-one sessions with Nicole.

"One of the biggest impacts is that my confidence has increased," Erin says. "I feel safer and more capable with moving and getting around!"

Giving Impact: MSAC Achiever's Circle

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated donors in the MSAC Achiever's Circle! Your generous donations of $1,000 or more make a significant impact in connecting people to MSAC.
