David Chan, just graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in political science, has emerged as a pivotal figure in shaping young political engagement within the Republican Party. At 20 years old, he made history by becoming the youngest GOP Chair on record, securing his election in January 2023, and assuming the role of Chairman of the Alameda County Republican Party.
During his tenure at UC Berkeley, David pioneered initiatives to bridge gaps within the youth segments of the party, notably spearheading the reunification of two previously divided College Republican PACs. His efforts restored unity and revitalized Generation Z's involvement in Republican politics, leading him to become the Chairman of the California College Republicans.
