Ten years ago, we opened our doors to a new space for MSAC on the KU Medical Center campus. We recently gathered with more than 60 MSAC supporters for an open house to celebrate this 10th anniversary milestone.
Since our founding in 1995, MSAC has been a place where all are welcome. We have a long, rich history of caring for and empowering people with MS in the Kansas City community. |
The real heart of MSAC — no matter where we are located — is creating a place where individuals matter, where they feel valued for who they are!
This is what happens each week at MSAC. Members, volunteers, students and staff look forward to seeing each other and appreciate the different experiences and perspectives everyone brings.

Meet Russell, Ron and Dan Schroeder — aka Team Nowhere to Go! For eight of the last nine years of our stationary bike race, the three brothers have pedaled their way to the team championship!
"We like to participate in this great event each year!" says Russell Schroeder. "It shines a light on the need for those with MS in the Kansas City area to have access to resources that help them with their everyday activities."

These sessions cover a range of helpful subjects, including Social Security 101 for retirement, understanding disability benefits and scam awareness / fraud prevention. |
Each webinar is led by knowledgeable representatives and provides practical, up-to-date information, with opportunities to ask questions and learn directly from the source.
Whether you’re planning ahead, exploring eligibility, or simply looking to better understand your options, these webinars are a valuable and trustworthy resource for individuals with MS, care partners, and the broader community.

We are excited to host our 2nd Annual MSAC Health Conference Saturday, June 6, 8am - 2:30pm at Merriam Community Center. People with MS/NMO, their carepartners, and healthcare providers will join together to explore a holistic approach to care.
The conference is free for attendees with MS or other neurological conditions and carepartners. Healthcare providers can earn 4 CEU credits for $60 fee, student fee is $30. Continental breakfast, lunch and Health Resource Fair are included with the four educational sessions.
