The First Year of the Reconquest

1st%20Anniv.png

Last Friday, February 28 marked the one year anniversary of  the opening of God's Reconquest.

On that day we published the first Message: A Call to All the Children of God, in which our Blessed Mother said, "Children, there is no time left. The battle, Our counterattack begins. It begins with these Words, which We give to you as Light, Protection, Guidance and Consolation."

Those words "Light, Protection, Guidance and Consolation"  offer a good summary of the blessings and fruit provided by the 17 Reconquest Messages that we were given to publish over the past year.

It is very difficult to encapsulate  all that this last year has meant to MDM. We feel like a little seed, that was dormant and hidden in the ground for many years,  that is now beginning--finally-- to sprout and to grow into what God created us to be.

The year brought many challenges, especially the sadness and pain of losing friends. Still, we were surprised, encouraged and edified by the faithfulness of so many. Then there was the joy that came from contact with the many new people from around the world. We are thankful for all of you who have heard God's Voice in these Messages and have responded to the call to join His Luminous Army.

We don't know what the next year will bring, but there is comfort in knowing that we are joined by a multitude friends, old and new, as we wait in Faith for orders from Our Captain and King.

Jesus, we trust in You.

What does God want for you?

In Your Souls."

Excerpt from Message of March 22, 2024
Do Not Reject My Gift

God the Father speaks:

What did My Jesus do in these Most Holy days?

He fulfilled My Will.  He Obeyed My Will.  He emptied Himself in such a way that only My Will remained in Him – He turned all of Himself exclusively into “The Will of My Father.”   This is why He bore everything, suffered everything, expiated everything for you.  Out of Love for Me and My Will, which is nothing other than Love and Mercy for My creatures.

In this, Children, is how I want you to imitate Him.  Empty yourselves of yourselves, of your desires, of your very limited thoughts, of your own will, so that you can receive My Will in you, so that you place it in the center of your being.

My Will is Me in your souls.

LOOKING FOR GOLF CARTS!

GOLFCART.JPG

Golf carts at the Mission get A LOT OF USE  transporting people from parking lot to Mass, giving tours to visiting pilgrims and assisting staff make deliveries around the property.  And now that the Sisters are living on the property, we would like to provide them with one or more carts as a convenient means of negotiating the hills and distance.

Among his many jobs, Dave Sommers has learned a lot about golf cart repair, but he has warned us that some of our carts have reached the point where parts are no longer available. And duct tape can only do so much.

SO IF YOU LIVE IN THE AREA, AND HAVE A GOLF CART IN GOOD REPAIR THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE TO THE MISSION, WE WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL!

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a comment or testimony. We ask that prayer intentions be placed at Prayer Request on our website.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Father Juan María, Sister Amapola and every member of the Divine Mercy Mission, for their courageous apostolate that sustains us spiritually. The statement of Saint John Paul II is not gratuitous nor coincidental: “THE DIVINE MERCY WILL BE OUR LAST OPPORTUNITY.” JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU! ~ Pilar

Lord, may your Holy Will be done, which is always better than what we can ask for. At Your Feet, Lord, is Ecuador. On Sunday, February 9, there will be an electoral process. Let us look only to You while we repeat: “JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU!” with the certainty that Our Mother holds us in the cross of Her arms, in the hollow of Her cloak, as She assured Saint Juan Diego. Thank you, Father Juan María and the MDM community, for being privileged instruments of the Good God who courageously weave this network of trust, calling us to Truth and Goodness. ~ Pilar

My brother, diagnosed with Chagas disease, prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy every day at 3 pm. For five years he did not show the characteristic symptoms of the disease, and had a good quality of life (breathing without difficulty, eating, moving around, sleeping, no pain). When he woke up on the morning of April 19, 2001, he saw two rays of light emanating from the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus that he had in his room; at 6 pm he died peacefully. I share this testimony of faith to encourage us to repeat incessantly: Jesus, I trust in You!~Pilar

Thank you, Father John Mary Foster and Sister Amapola and all of the Mission Of Divine Mercy for bringing these messages , homilies and teachings to us poor sheep (laity) who otherwise would be VERY LOST AND CONFUSED. You are a vital lifeline, a beacon of shining hope in this very dark world. I personally depend greatly on these messages to help guide me in these confusing times when our local Cardinal and most priests in this archdiocese are utterly silent - nothing, crickets. Thank you sooo much.~Leedell

THANK YOU Fr. John and everyone at MDM so much for your encouragement and hope. Please pray for my daughter and son in law’s Godly outcome from their recent miscarriage. I too, will pray “Jesus, I trust in You” 20 times a day -not just for my personal intentions-but for all intentions. May Our beautiful Mother of Mercy and Her Son, Jesus guide and protect us. Amen ~Anonymous

COMMUNITY%20SUPPORT.jpg

Thank you for considering making a donation in support of  MDM. Your donations go directly to the Mission of Divine Mercy Inc. which as of March 2024, is considered "not an approved Catholic apostolate of the Archdiocese of San Antonio." The Mission has no regular source of income.  Every bit of support comes from people like you; people who God introduces to the Mission.  We try to steward your money wisely and make each dollar work hard for Him and for His people.
