Dear Olivia,

We know this time of year is normally spent away from screens, savoring the longer days or the last few adventures before a return to the school year calendar. I hope that you have enjoyed a season of growth and connection, but if you are tuning in with us today feeling some disconnection from the summer celebrations, you are not alone.

Personally, I have held joy from seeing friends' gardens overflow and hiking and swimming in new places, as well as deep anxiety over the parade of devastating climate disasters that come this time of year. I hold my breath with every new headline about the unprecedented El Niño, knowing we haven't seen the worst of it. However, I know there are ways to weave resilience and transformation into this season of uncertainty by leaning into my community.

At GGN, we have a cohorted 10-Step group with bonus scholarship spots starting in just three weeks, as well as an exciting event on the horizon with Reimagine. We will also be back at Climate Week NYC, participating at an event cohosted with Climate Cafe NYC, Climate Imaginarium, and Laura Carter Robinson. Even if you can't attend in person, I recommend checking out the full Climate Week calendar to tap into virtual events
