The Eau Claire County Democratic Party and the Democratic Resource Center need your help in electing Democratic and progressive candidates to local, state, and national office this November 3, 2026.

The future of democracy in Wisconsin and in our nation is on the November 3 ballot. This year’s midterm election provides Wisconsin Democrats the opportunity to take the majority in the Wisconsin Senate and the Assembly, for the first time since 2010! In addition, we need to keep the Democratic claim on the Governor’s office and the other executive offices. We also aim to once again be represented by a 3rd CD Democrat in the U.S. House.

Aware of the crucial importance of the November 2026 election to the future of Wisconsin, the Eau Claire County Democrats voted in June to donate most of the funds in the ECCD bank account to the campaigns of area Democrats for Wisconsin Senate and Assembly. We held back just enough in the bank account to keep the Democratic Resource Center running for the rest of the year.

We need your help to contribute even more to our area Democrats in the next few weeks. Some of you may have already donated the maximum allowed for individual contributions ($1000/campaign for an WI Assembly candidate, and $2000/campaign for a WI Senate candidate.) However, the Eau Claire County Democratic Party is not limited to those contribution amounts. Others of you may feel that your donation isn’t big enough. But when we pool our resources,   we make a big difference to these local campaigns.

Help us elect Jeremiah Fredrickson to the WI Assembly and reelect Rep. Jodi Emerson, Rep. Christian Phelps, and Sen. Jeff Smith. Help us elect Democrats to all the Wisconsin executive seats. Help us defeat those who violate the Constitution.

It's easy!  You can contribute online here or you can send a check made out to:
Eau Claire County Democratic Party, 440 Broadway St., Eau Claire, WI 54703.

Thank you so much for your contribution.

CHAIR LEFT BEHIND
Bill Laman left his chair near the Pine Pavilion following last Thursday's Eau Claire County Democratic Picnic. It is a blue and gray rocker bag chair (without the bag), and was last seen behind the Sassy Granny props table.  If you found it, please bring it to the Dem office, or call 715-852-0330.

For the first time since 2010, both Democrats and Republicans have a shot at winning majorities in Wisconsin’s state Assembly and Senate. In addition, winning the Governor race would create the "trifecta". Read more
