Spring is upon us! A great time for getting outside. Happy Easter to all of our friends who observe this day!
Happy 95th birthday to my dad Norm on March 13! Remarkable! The man just keeps on going!
We have a ton of programs and special events coming up including Hiking, Cheerleading, Sailing, Fishing, Covered Wagon Tour Hike, Dance and Dinner, Open Skating at the Iceplex and Golf. (You can find everything below! Please register so that you don't miss out!) Come out to CV High School on March 23rd for the second annual adaptive sports fair and then if you are a student join us at the prom at the El Dorado Polo Club in the evening!

Welcome to our new Program Manager/Coach Joe McKinney
Joe earned his BA from Jackson State University where he majored in Mass Communication. Joe is an avid fan of all sports, whether coaching, playing or watching. He has been involved with some type of team sport since the age of 6. His background includes coaching girls travel fast-pitch softball, high school softball and travel basketball. Joe is comfortable coaching athletes of all abilities. His love of coaching allows him to teach life lessons through sports.
Joe adds to the coaching expertise in a variety of sports that SoCal Adaptive Sports offers to each and every athlete! Please come out to one of our events and meet Joe!
We are hiring-Marketing Assistant (P-t)
We are looking for a responsible Admin/Social Media person to manage SoCal Adaptive Sports’ social media and office. Your job will be to provide administrative support to the Executive Director and apply your social media expertise to help us achieve our mandate to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities throughout Riverside County and other Southern California communities. We are growing our Inland Regional Center programs and continue to offer 1:1 and small group coaching and workouts. If you'd like to take part please have SoCal Adaptive Sports assigned by your Regional Center Community Services Coordinator (CSC). Our Vendor number is PJ5601. We are open to many different modalities for bringing adaptive sports and physical, social, and emotional health to everyBODY!
As the local coordinator for Special Olympics, we want to build this program. You can sign up now to be a Special Olympics athlete or volunteer in the Coachella Valley!

FUT Looking for Athletes to participate in a pilot program to hone your skills!
This FREE event welcomes high school students (14-21 years old) and young adult transitional students (up to 22 years old) from Desert Sands, Coachella Unified, and Palm Springs Unified School Districts. Bring your family and friends - the more the merrier!
