We're excited to announce the results of our "Voter's Choice" specials contest! You all voted and here are your winners. Look for these amazing options on our new Spring/Summer menu which is coming out next month!!
Quesadilla - a flour tortilla stuffed with cheddar jack cheese and your choice of chicken, shrimp or a combination, served with lettuce, sour cream, jalapeno jam and salsa
Hot Honey Pepperoni Flatbread - house marinara sauce, loads of pepperoni, cheese blend, fresh basil and hot honey drizzle
Breakfast Tacos - 2 or 3 flour tortillas filled with scrambled eggs, red peppers, cheddar jack cheese, green onions and choice of bacon or sausage, served with seasoned potatoes, sour cream and salsa |
Xenia's Hometown Hero, Gavin Gerhardt, Captain and Center for the Cincinnati Bearcats will be joined by his Offensive Line teammates to volunteer at One Bistro on Saturday, April 19th. Save the date and plan to join us for brunch. |

Here's a big SHOUT OUT to all of you cyclists out there who enjoy Miami Valley's trails and love to stop in at One Bistro for a rest and a delicious lunch or brunch!
John lives in Oregon, however in 2017 he had lunch at One Bistro while traveling with a group of bicyclists riding between Albany NY and Cincinnati. He was impressed with our "pay-it-forward model of sharing, the good food, the home atmosphere, and the welcoming attitude of the staff." John says, "I was just talking with friends around the country about planning another bike ride on the trails near Xenia, which prompted me to look up your Bistro to see if you were still in operation."
John paid it forward again, all the way from Oregon!

Out and About in Our Community |
It is such a blessing to have board members and volunteers who will promote One Bistro out in our community! Board Treasurer, Frankie Aguilar and Board President, Steve Brodsky spoke with students at Xenia High School's Career Fair. Also, our awesome volunteers, Jerry & Fae Ochs represented One Bistro again this spring at Reynolds and Reynolds' Non-Profit Fair. THANK YOU! |
On Fridays, at the Juvenile Detention Center, employees have the option to pay $1 and wear jeans (as long as they don't have court.) JDC saves up this money and chooses a charity to donate it to each year. This year they selected One Bistro and are planning to use the donation to sponsor a Community Meal! Thank you to former Board Officers, Denise Davis and Diane Dixon for receiving this donation on One Bistro's behalf. |
One Bistro partnered with the City of Xenia to provide boxed meals for their Neighborhood Night Out at McKinley Elementary School in March. Volunteers from the City of Xenia came over to help assemble the meals. |

Who owns the bistro?
One Bistro is a non-profit (501c3), governed by a volunteer board of directors.
I heard I could eat free at One Bistro, is that true and how does that work?
Yes. You may volunteer in exchange for a meal. If you volunteer for one hour you can order a $6 meal. If you volunteer for a three-hour shift, you can order a $9 meal. On Wednesday night at Community Meal, no one is asked to volunteer or pay for their meal because our sponsors cover the cost.
What happens to the money I pay forward at the register?
It goes to provide a complimentary meal for guests who are unable to pay and helps us keep our suggested prices affordable at $6 to $9. We give away $10,000+ meals each year. |
