Hello! I’ve attached your Certificate of Completion for the 2020 Mom and Postpartum Support International (PSI) online Maternal Mental Health certificate course. Please let me know if any changes need to be made on your certificate.
We’re so glad you were able to join us, and excited about the contribution you can make to support families in your community. We would also love to add you to our new online perinatal mental health provider directory, where we list providers who have specialized training in perinatal mental health. You can check out the directory and add your listing here.
You can now identify that you have completed the PSI and 2020 Mom Professional Maternal Mental Health Certificate Training. This course does not enable participants to use the term “certified” or “certification.” However, it is a prerequisite to becoming PMH-C Certified, and we are happy to say the certification exam is now available!
We have created a pathway to a true Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). Your next step to certification is to take an advanced PMD course of at least 6 hours. Here is more information about becoming certified. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have questions about certification -- write to us.
Please contact the office or visit our volunteer page here if you want information about volunteering with PSI. We have many volunteer opportunities, including direct support, fundraising, events, newsletter and blog articles, and serving on board committees. See current volunteer opportunities listed below.
Visit the 2020 Mom Website to learn about how to help close gaps in maternal mental health care through education, collaboration and advocacy.
HERE is a digital badge you can add to your materials, websites, etc.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
PSI is currently seeking state and specialized Support Coordinators in many areas across the US and Canada. These compassionate volunteers serve as a bridge between individuals who need support related to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and the resources that will help them feel like themselves again. The assistance provided can help completely change the path of a struggling parent’s healing journey, for the better!Learn more and apply
PSI is currently seeking Mentors for our Peer Mentor program. PSI's Peer Mentor program pairs new parents in need of support with a trained volunteer mentor who has lived experience and is fully recovered from a Perinatal Mental Health Disorder. Learn more and apply.
