"Where I am today brings a smile to my face. I am no longer a victim but a survivor with the support and services provided through Call to Freedom. I now have a loving family, support team, and mentors who are always there for me." [CTF Survivor]
This year has been another incredible year for Call to Freedom. In June, we stepped out in faith and broke ground on our 12-unit Marissa's House for survivors and their children. The community answered the call and together we raised $2.3 million in just 7 months! In 2021, Call to Freedom served nearly 300 survivors onsite or through our cohesive model of care and support. This is a 46.4% increase over 2020!
Our continuum of care practice is at the forefront of responses and enables us to provide life changing support for victims of human trafficking. Your prayers, time and financial resources have provided us with the ability to serve more survivors than ever in 2021.
Thank you for your continued support and may God Bless you in the New Year!
Sincerely,
Becky Rasmussen

Call to Freedom's Program Development and Occupational Therapy Manager
Ashton was born and raised in Sioux Falls but spent her undergraduate and graduate college years in St. Paul where she played college soccer. She and her husband, Dane, have two children under the age of 2, Emerson and Leo who are only 14.5 months apart! Now that she has two kiddos to keep her busy, Ashton is loving her Peleton bike for at home workouts. As a family, they love anything to do with water: going to the pool and lake!
As Call to Freedom's Program Development and Occupational Therapy Manager, Ashton's job consists of a variety of roles from providing direct OT services to clients, to developing and evaluating current CTF programs, and even some grant management. With such a wide range of job duties, Ashton's workdays are never the same. Ashton's favorite part of her job is seeing the progress clients achieve toward their goals and dreams.
