TPP – TECH BRIDGE – NAWCAD - NAVAIR
The FAA has requested support from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to investigate the feasibility and expected performance of applying anti-jam (AJ)/anti-spoofing (AS) GPS/GNSS technology for use in civilian aircraft applications with an initial focus on Transport and Business Jet aircraft. NAWCAD is releasing this RFI on AJ/AS GPS/GNSS technologies for eventual use in civilian aircraft applications.

NEWS: Ten CSM digital media production students earned top honors and more than $6,200 in scholarships, for their creative public service announcements (PSAs) aimed at preventing vehicle theft in Maryland, produced as part of the 2024 Maryland State PSA Competition, sponsored by the Maryland State Police, the Maryland/D.C. Anti-Car Theft Committee and the Maryland Vehicle Theft Prevention Council.

STEM Summer Camp @ USMSM for Future Problem Solvers
The STEM Summer Camp funded by SoMD 2030 is for high-school students who are interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields of study. Students will learn mechanical design, electronics, and coding, engineering and math skills, as well as collaboration and teamwork, developing these diverse skills to solve problems and encourage innovation. For St. Mary’s Calvert and Charles County students only!

The "Every Student Flies" program- Ready 9 Aviation Academy is an evolution of Southern Maryland Seaplanes, focused on providing specialty flight instruction for rated pilots. This new chapter builds on that expertise to bridge the gap between existing STEM programs in Southern Maryland and a hands-on instructional experience in an airplane. The Ready 9 program offers every high school-aged student in Southern Maryland a free hands-on flight in an airplane.
