Did You Know?
Since bicycles are treated as vehicles, by law cyclists are required to signal their intentions when stopping or before making a turn (at least 100 ft in advance), as long as they can maintain safe operation and control of their bicycle.
From Washington, DC to Boston, Nashville, and even right here in Honolulu, we are witnessing federal and local forces threaten to reduce and eliminate bike lanes. Go to our website to read more about these developments and join us to protect and improve the bike lanes we have. Everyone deserves safer streets!
