Excerpt from Message of November 2, 2017
All Souls Day

Jesus speaks--

My Florecita,

How many, how many souls I have taken today to My Heaven.

Few people have come to Our Masses, but My children, the Chapel has been full. My Mission has been full of these souls – My children – who today, after each Mass, have finally finished their expiation and learning. [1]

How much these children of Mine love this place, where they receive so much consolation and help; and how attentive they are to help you.

Children, I unite all in this Great Mission:  I bring here all of My children who are in the battle of earthly life[2]; My children in their final expiation; My children who are in Heaven; and My Holy Angels.

Everyone collaborating in this Mission, in the Reconquest that is about to begin....

[1] He refers to the learning in the Love of God that takes place in Purgatory.

[2] Sometimes the use of the word "Mission" can be confusing because it can be used to refer to this place, "the Mission of Divine Mercy," but also God's Plan as in the "Great Mission." What I understood in this instance is that He brings them in spirit--some, physically--but ALL in spirit. That is to say, He makes them participate in all of the Graces that He pours out at and through the Mission of Divine Mercy, and unites them to His Plan in what He does and will do at the Mission.

Defending the Faith and the Problem of Schism

Mazza.png

What is legitimate criticism of the hierarchy by the faithful and what is schismatic conduct? How should the conduct of Archbishop Vigano and that of others in these matters be considered? In an interview with Robert Moynihan, Church historian Dr. Edmund Mazza discusses these challenging questions and what eminent Church theologians and canonists have to say about them. We believe this interview can be helpful in understanding both the crisis in the Church in general and our situation at MDM in particular.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

COMMUNITY%20SUPPORT.jpg

Thank you for considering making a donation in support of  MDM. Your donations go directly to the Mission of Divine Mercy Inc. which as of March 2024, is considered "not an approved Catholic apostolate of the Archdiocese of San Antonio." The Mission has no regular source of income.  Every bit of support comes from people like you; people who God introduces to the Mission.  We try to steward your money wisely and make each dollar work hard for Him and for His people.
