As we approach the 4th of July, we want to speak to all who are feeling troubled and sad for America, this country that ultimately belongs to God and that exists under the protection of the Blessed Mother, Our Lady of America.
Let us pray that our country may be cleansed and purified of the Enemy. Pray that all will be renewed in this land and on the whole earth.
Let us pray that America will once again be fruitful and free, because it is a land where the Name of God is loved and enshrined in every heart.
Invoke the Power of the Cross of Jesus, and the Peace of the Blessed Mother.

Registration will open on our website, two months prior to each retreat.
If a retreat is full, call 830-302-9707 and ask to be put on the waiting list. There are always last minute cancellations.
Each person must register individually, not as a group, so that we have contact information.
We cannot reserve spaces in advance of the opening date for reservation.
Due to limited space, we will give priority to those who have not made an EWJ.
Prior retreatants wishing to make another retreat should call 830-302-9707 to be placed on the waiting list.
No public Mass at the Mission during July. The Mission will be closed for the month so that the Community can take vacation and make family visits, and the maintenance crew and staff can accomplish certain needed repairs and upgrades.

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You" ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Psalm 69, that we have excerpts from in today’s readings, speaks of intense suffering from evildoers. It has an extended curse, calling down vengeance. How is a Christian to understand that?
