Padua's Blue Gold Bingo Night

Padua's Annual Blue Gold Bingo Night is back on Friday, March 7th! Join them in green and gold for a St. Patrick's theme night. Each ticket includes 4 games of bingo, light refreshments and 1 raffle ticket. Additional items can be purchased during the event. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. The event is free for children 6 and under.

Are you a high school senior of Hispanic origin looking for financial support to pursue higher education? The Minerva Marrero Hispanic Scholarship Program 2025 is here to help!
 
Applicant Criteria:
  • Open to Delaware High School Seniors
  • Must meet household income eligibility
  • At least 50% Hispanic origin
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college, university, or trade school
 
Scholarship Awards: $5,000, $3,000 and, $2,000
 
Application Deadline: Monday, March 31st, 2025

About the Scholarship
The 2025 Minerva Marrero Hispanic Scholarship Program is an opportunity for Hispanic High School Seniors embarking on their post-secondary education journey. Recognizing the importance of supporting students as they transition to higher education, this program provides financial assistance to those pursuing studies at trade schools, as well as 2-year or 4-year colleges and universities.
 
Our approach to selecting scholarship recipients is comprehensive and thoughtful. We assess applications on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement, community service involvement, the quality of supplementary materials submitted, and financial need. This multifaceted evaluation ensures that scholarships are awarded to students who not only excel academically but also demonstrate a strong commitment to their communities and a clear need for financial support.

Adorn Your Doorways Beautification Campaign
Adorn Your Doorways is a beautification project that partners with the Delaware Center for Horticulture, the City of Wilmington, and City Council Representatives to distribute planters to Wilmington residents. Each planter features a large perennial, semi-evergreen plants, and spring blooming bulbs for continued interest throughout the seasons.
