Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday, May 11, for Ndajee 2026: From Education to Climate Action—Girls Leading Change at The Dalcy in Chicago’s West Loop. It was a beautiful evening filled with community, celebration, and a shared commitment to girls’ education.

Together, we have raised over $312,000 toward our $350,000 goal — and we are so close! If you were inspired by this year’s Ndajee, or if you couldn’t join us but still want to be part of this powerful community of support, we invite you to make a gift today!

Guests also enjoyed an inspiring night of connection, music, dancing, and celebration, including a special Impact Award honoring Julie Moller and a powerful keynote from Craig Davidson of Rick Steves’ Europe on the role we all play in building a more just and sustainable future.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was the debut of our new video highlighting WGEP’s work in Senegal, where girls and women are leading climate action in their communities through education, leadership, and locally driven solutions.

3 Ways to Stay Engaged with WGEP!

1. Ask your company to match your gift

Many employers offer matching gift programs, which can double — or even triple — the impact of your donation. Check with your HR department to see if your company will match your gift to WGEP!

2. Host an event

Looking for a meaningful way to support WGEP? Consider hosting your own fundraiser and bringing your community together in support of girls’ education. Whether it’s a house party, book club, back-to-school gathering, birthday celebration, or another creative idea, your event can help expand access to education for girls around the world.

3. Help us make a partner connection

Do you know a company, foundation, community group, or individual who is passionate about girls’ education, women’s leadership, or global change? We would love an introduction! Your connections can help us grow our community of support and reach even more girls.
