U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has continued its escalation, conducting raids well beyond Minneapolis: Eau Claire (WI), Hudson (WI), and many towns in Minnesota.
Resources for resisting ICE will now be on the ECCD website homepage.
Check out WISCONSIN RESIST:https://www.wisconsinresist.org/Wisconsin Resist is a volunteer-run grassroots movement that organizes and mobilizes people in Wisconsin to fight all forms of oppression, including fascism. The website has a statewide event calendar, orgs list, and resources. This group acts as a hub and facilitates coordination between organizations.
DONATIONS FOR NEIGHBORS SHELTERING AT HOME
Eau Claire County Dems are helping to collect food, hygiene items, and monetary donations for Chippewa Valley Neighbors and Minnesota families who do not feel safe to leave their homes. Drop off your donations at Shift or at the Democratic Resource Center. One of our members is coordinating with community aide groups and will use any cash donations to purchase and transport needed supplies. Or make credit card donations using the QR code on the poster. Especially needed are personal hygiene and home items including diapers, baby wipes, soap, body wash, dish soap, disinfectant wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, kids’ toys and crayons.
The Eau Claire County Democratic Party needs your help to continue working to elect Democratic and progressive candidates to local, state, and national office. We are working fiercely to meet and rise above the unprecedented challenges to our democracy. The Eau Claire County Democrats are increasing our involvement and activism many times over with billboards, ads, letters, canvassing, forums, rallies and protests. We have already started putting all our financial and volunteer resources behind the important spring local elections and the crucial November midterm. Your financial support funds the work of the Eau Claire County Democratic Party and funds the busy year-round Democratic Resource Center (DRC).

Wanted: Ideas for Resolutions for the Wisconsin Democratic Party
You are invited to put forward your ideas for resolutions from the ECC Democratic Party to be considered at the 3rd Congressional District Convention. The top ten resolutions voted on at the 3rd CD convention will then be sent on to DPW for review and voted on at the state Democratic Party Convention in June.
To submit your ideas or to volunteer to help develop ideas into resolution form, email Linda Norton at lnorton08@gmail.com.

Each resolution must be 100 words or less.
Submitted resolutions are generally discussed for editing in Coffee Klatch.
The ECC Dems will need to vote at the March membership meeting on the ones that are to be forwarded to the 3rd CD for review.
And final voting on which resolutions (up to 10), will be sent on to DPW will occur at the 3rd CD Convention on April 19th.
