President's Message: How We Determine the Number of Grants Each Year
During a recent conversation, member Jeannie Fraser, asked the question – In a year like this, when unused funds from a previously unfinished grant are added back into the grant pool, how does the board decide to award six $100,000 grants and four Support Grants, rather than staying with our usual five $100k High Impact Grants and simply increasing the amount of the Support Grants? As a result of the continued collective generosity of our extraordinary members, Impact San Antonio is once again able to award significant grants that will help deserving nonprofits transform lives in our community. During our 2025 Grant Award Night event, themed “Starry, Starry Night,” we will reveal this year’s recipients of High Impact and Support Grants totaling $613,000.
We look forward to our members voting to award SIX $100,000 High Impact Grants and FOUR $3,250 Support Grants. Grant Award Night will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the DoSeum, 2800 Broadway, San Antonio, Texas 78209.

Our annual Celebration event was a beautiful tribute to all of our amazing members. We are so grateful for each one of you! Members were acknowledged throughout the morning for their achievements, including milestone anniversaries, event volunteering, participation in the Grant Review process, sponsorship of Impact SA, increasing to Champion or Plus level membership, support of the Agencies and Applications team, and service as an Agency Liaison, among other recognitions.
