Dear Science Olympiad Community:

Spring is just around the corner and so are State Tournaments! Competition is heating up this time of year, and we’ve been seeing incredible stories of achievement from teams all across the country. Submit Your Nominations for the Coaching Excellence Award 🏅

Science Olympiad wouldn’t be possible without our amazing coaches! Nominate your favorite teacher for a 2026 Coaching Excellence Award. Two winners will receive a trip and registration to the Build Clinic or Content Clinic in Illinois, and four will receive Virtual Boot Camp registration - all to help prepare teams for the 2027 season. Submit by April 21st.  

Don’t Wait: Apply for the Founders’ Scholarship 📣

Calling all SciOly high school seniors! Apply for a $10,000 scholarship to help your college journey. Applications must be submitted by  April 13th midnight CT.

Montana Organization  Recognizes SciOly Coach🏆

Division C Science Olympiad coach and teacher Vryann James L. Sison has been named Montana’s Environmental Educator of the Year! This award is presented by the Montana Environmental Education Association (MEEA) and is given once a year to a Montana school teacher. Awesome job! 👏

CCIR Virtual Bootcamp Scholarships 💻

Calling all Division C coaches! You can apply for one of 10 CCIR Coach Scholarships to attend our Virtual Bootcamp this summer - applications are due April 22, 2026. This flexible online workshop covers all 2027 events and is open to individuals 18+ who are no longer active competitors.

Future Innovators Wanted: Apply for the 3M Young Scientist Challenge 🏆

Time is running out to apply for the Discovery 3M Young Scientist Challenge! The deadline is April 30. Science Olympiad Division B students are encouraged to apply and showcase their creativity and innovation - SciOly students have a strong track record of winning! 😉

Science Olympiad is devoted to helping students prepare for the jobs of tomorrow. Interested in AI, computer science, CAD, quantum or coding? This year we worked closely with our partners at Onshape and CodeHS to develop the Division C event Engineering CAD and the new Trial Event Code Craze for both divisions. We will be running Code Craze at Nationals this year!
