Stuff the Bus Program Distributes 1,800 Backpacks with School Supplies
Thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, donors, and partners who came together to make this year's Stuff the Bus program a success! Through your support, 1,800 backpacks and school supplies were distributed to kids in the Sun Prairie School District to help start this school year off right.
This marks the 15th year of the Stuff the Bus program, which aims to make sure that no child worries about getting needed school supplies. Since its inception, the program has provided an astonishing 18,853 backpacks filled with supplies to help families struggling to cover this expense.
The Stuff the Bus program is led by a group of community volunteers, and Founding sponsors include the Bank of Sun Prairie and Larry Smokey Anderson - American Family Insurance Agent. Special thank you to the Sun Prairie Education Foundation for additional grant support of this program.
