Help Us Feed Hungry Kids This Summer!
For the past nine years, we’ve worked alongside St. Mary’s County Public Schools and the USDA to provide free lunches to children throughout the summer. Last year we served nearly 800 meals at Lexington Park Library, with some days reaching over 50 kids. Unfortunately, due to funding changes, the school system is no longer able to support the program this summer. We are accepting donations of non-perishable snacks at all Library locations. We're also accepting monetary donations to go towards snacks and meals for kids this summer.
Summer Snacks: Healthy, hearty, individually packaged snacks that kids enjoy are preferred. If you are interested in donating perishable snacks (fruit, string cheese, etc.) please contact us at info@stmalib.org to coordinate donations.
St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks is launching a new online registration platform! CivicPlus provides improved access to activities, classes, leagues, memberships, and facility reservations with seamless online registration and secure payment processing. Create a household account here: https://secure.rec1.com/MD/st-marys-county-md/catalog
