You Are Pierced

Embracing
His Heart

EMBRACE%20MY%20HEART.jpg

Know that when you embrace the Heart of Christ,
you embrace the thorns and the wounds that pierce It.
And the more closely you embrace His Heart,
the more deeply you are pierced.

And though in appearance
these piercings are little deaths,

they open up Rivers of Grace that Jesus makes flow
from your depths where He dwells.

Through these painful piercings
come the Waters of Grace
that He uses to quench the thirst of His children
and to cleanse them.

Holy piercings.
How brightly they will shine in Heaven.
How painful they are to bear now.

A SATURDAY MORNING REFLECTION BY BR.MIKAEL

SEPT. 23 - 9:20 AM

OBEDIENCE ?

In these confusing times, how are we to understand the virtue of obedience? In this talk we will reflect on examples from Scripture, the Catechism, Aquinas and others in an effort to understand the Mystery of the Church, and how we are called to live obedience.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

My husband Marcus and I went for the first time to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on August 20 at the Mission of Divine Mercy. We were speechless for a while after Mass. The reverence. The music. The communion rails. The veils. The Holy of Holies celebrated and worshiped as He should be. Thank you so very much for welcoming us so warmly. We just moved into the area and have found our spiritual home! ~Selma

Jesus I Trust In You, therefore I ask that you help Kristin Deleon on her journey to a bone marrow transplant soon. She is my niece and suffering with Leukemia. I pray for a miracle! Jesus, I pray that you help my son David. He is a new father and needs your guidance and wisdom. ~ Angie

Thank you for your loving tribute to Mike Norris who introduced me to 33 Days of Morning Glory!!~Cindy
