Hello, ABA members. We’re writing to ask for your help.

Our executive director for the past year, Nikki Belmonte, recently moved on from her position at the ABA. Nikki joined us last spring, and since then, has made great strides with the organization. An opportunity arose for her to become the first executive director of a nonprofit organization in her home state, and her last day with us at the ABA was May 22. We wish her the best of luck in her new job, and we thank her for her hard work over the past 12 months.

In light of this news, the ABA Board of Directors is kicking off a search for the organization’s next executive director. An exceptional work opportunity awaits a passionate leader to help us build upon the ABA's legacy and to continue to transform it in the digital age. The starting salary is US$100k–$125k (based on experience) plus a 25% performance-based bonus. This rewarding and challenging position is remote but also requires some travel. Are you ready to make a lasting contribution to birds and the birding community? Join us! Do you know someone who is uniquely qualified? Please let them know of this opportunity!
