The road to the US House majority runs through Wisconsin’s third congressional district. That’s why on February 25th, Congressman Jason Crow will be joining us here in Wisconsin to discuss veterans' issues, health care, and real leadership.
Derrick Van Orden hides behind a keyboard and refuses to meet with his constituents face-to-face, refusing to accept any responsibility for his votes to take away health care and food assistance. Congressman Crow will show the 3rd congressional district what a veteran-turned-congressman can do when they're focused on the issues and not the latest Twitter feud. This is an evening you won't want to miss, so make sure to RSVP at this link today!
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has continued its escalation, conducting raids well beyond Minneapolis: Eau Claire (WI), Hudson (WI), and many towns in Minnesota.

"How to Cope in These Times" by Lynn Buske, JONAH organizer
These suggestions come from our Mental Health Task Force, from my own eight years navigating justice work and mental health recovery, from JONAH leadership, faith leaders, and from Dr. King himself. They are offered in the hope that something here speaks to you. They may also steer the next steps for those feeling the need to “do something.”
The red tasselled hat, called a nisselue in Norwegian, was a symbol of patriotism and protest against Nazi occupation during the Second World War.Today, sewers, knitters, and crocheters are busy making these hats to show solidarity with those targeted by ICE. Inspired by last week’s Coffee Klatch discussion of the red hats, Nancy Tissing has shared two crochet patterns for making this hat: LINK To Pattern 1 LINK To Pattern 2
