Celebrating the 2025 Morris Series Cohort

What a finale! The 2025 Morris Series wrapped up with remarks from 2024 International Citizen of the Year (ICY) recipient Mario Rodriguez, Executive Director & CEO of the Indianapolis Airport Authority; insights from board member Maki Teramoto, Head Consul at the Mexican Consulate in Indiana; and a surprise session with former Governor & ICY recipient Eric Holcomb led by Martin Baier, President & CEO of The International Center.

Following the lunch break, the cohort had the opportunity to tour the Indianapolis Airport Authority and hear from Morris Series Alumni, Maggie Cunningham, Director of Air Service & Airport Experience, and Tracy Guerrero, Air Service Manager, Indianapolis Airport Authority. Our final session ended with former Indianapolis mayor & ICY recipient Greg Ballard and Baier presenting the cohort with certificates for successful completion of the Morris Series.

Congratulations to the 6th Morris Series cohort!

Thank You for Empowering Future Leaders on Giving Tuesday

This year, The International Center’s season of thanks hit home twofold when we saw how many of you showed up in support of our Internship Program this Giving Tuesday. During a critical time for Indiana’s emerging professionals, you saw a need, and you met it, blowing through last year’s achievement and setting a new record.

Thanks to you, college students and recent graduates have an equitable opportunity to participate in personalized professional development, nonprofit management, and early career networking. Your generosity is an investment in the future of Indiana’s workforce and the bridge-builders who will connect our companies and campuses to the community. You helped us open the door for new learners, creating statewide leaders who are equipped with a global perspective and value for all cultures. We cannot thank you enough for helping us uplift a global Indiana -- for today and tomorrow.
