This event is a joint discussion between Commander Kyle Hanford, Commanding Officer of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 131 “Lancers,” and Commander Michael Mabry, Growler Level 1 Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) with the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265). They will discuss the intricacies of their roles related to PMA-265, how they collaborate, and how they work with small businesses, all to support the warfighter.

Artificial Intelligence Augmented Testing (AIAT) Prize Challenge
In collaboration with PEO MLB, the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and Palmetto Tech Bridge (PTB) seek solutions for leveraging AI to revolutionize testing and evaluation processes. PEO MLB Artificial Intelligence Augmented Testing (AIAT) aims to address the challenges of traditional automation processes and tool capabilities, which rely on very detailed human intervention with significant costs, delays, and inefficiencies.

Acquisition Research Program invites you to submit a research paper or panel proposal for the “Accelerating Warfighting Capabilities”, NPS 23rd Annual Acquisition Research Symposium & Innovation Summit.
This event intends to inform acquisition policy and modernization efforts.
This dual event will explore and promote innovative ways to enhance readiness, deter
adversaries, and increase warfighting capabilities by reviving our defense industrial base, reforming our acquisition process, and rapidly fielding emerging technologies.

NEWS: CSM and Towson University (TU) have partnered to increase educational pathways for students in our region. On September 29, 2025, Yolanda Wilson, Ed.D., College of Southern Maryland President, and Mark R. Ginsberg, Ph.D., Towson University President, signed a General Admissions and Reverse Transfer Agreement that creates a seamless transition for students enrolled at CSM with guaranteed admission to TU upon completing an associate degree.
The January 2026 St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair (SMCSEF) will be at the USMSM SMART Building and is open to the St. Mary’s County residents. It is the perfect venue for students to share their talents in experimental methodologies, engineering design and testing, and other scientific projects.
